Diego Maradona Says He Didn't Have A Heart Attack Yesterday But Was Celebrating Until He Collapsed After "Drinking All The Wine"

Daily Star- In a leaked WhatsApp recording sent to a journalist pal, the Argentina legend admitted “drinking all the wine”. Forced to deny claims he had died, the football icon was the talk of the town after last night’s events.

Failing to show after the World Cup game – he left many concerned that he had been rushed to hospital and rumours spread like wildfire the star had died. Insisting the problems he suffered were from “neck pain”, the 57-year-old rambled to friend Daniel Arcucci he was fine.

So after all that, it turns out Diego Maradona’s wild day was just a classic case of him being over served. Too much wine. I imagine the girl on the right from this incredible Chicks In The Wild video had the same problem.

Yup, nothing to see here! Diego just overdid some Pinot because they didn’t have any reds. Not a heart attack or any other substances. A classic mix up that happens at countless sororities every single year. Some people can handle reds better, some do better with whites. And apparently Diego is a red guy.

“Yes, we drank all the wine, but now I’m talking to you and I’m telling you the truth.” He added: “I swear on the lives of my mum, my grandson Benjamin and my son Dieguito Fernando’s life that nothing happened. “At the end of the first half we went to eat. I like red wine and there was white wine.”

Call me a sucker, but when someone swears on their mom, son, AND grandson, I believe them. Even though Diego’s blood should seemingly be impervious to any and all types of alcohol outside of maybe 151 and absinthe. You don’t drop the S-word unless you mean it.
